PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY (TRAINING NEEDS)
This position will train with CNC Machinists learning to assist with changing parts as the Machinist sets-up and operates CNC controlled horizontal and/or vertical milling machines and lathes.

Mechanical Assembler
The ideal candidate is a self-starter that takes initiative to work through tasks and solve problems with minimal supervision, and can provide practical input for updating work instructions and process manuals.
PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY (TRAINING NEEDS)
Assembles machines, equipment and their subassemblies following manuals and work instructions using hand tools and other precision tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assembles machines, equipment and subassemblies such as punch presses, bending brakes, shears, notchers, kick presses, and roll formers, following specifications and rising knowledge gained by experience.
- Removes small quantities of metal, using hand files, or portable grinders to clean parts or to produce close fit between the parts.
- Aligns components and bolts or can rivet them together, using hand tools, or portable powered tools.
- May install moving parts, such as shafts, levers or bearings and manually works them to test for free movement of the parts.
- Occasionally repair or rebuild machines.
- Prepares picks.
- Trouble shoots problems from customers.
- May assemble systems of gears by aligning and meshing gears in gearbox.
- May also test or assist in testing operation of the completed product.
- Assists with other projects and duties as assigned

We are looking for someone who is just finishing their Mechatronics courses and is ready to join our team:
We will train for 4-6 months, then the service technician will travel with another service technician to learn how to install new machines.

PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY
As a Customer Technical Support professional at Roper Whitney LLC, you will be responsible for handling technical calls from customers and working alongside field service technicians, the service manager, and the engineering department to troubleshoot any electrical or mechanical issues they may be experiencing. Your expertise will help customers identify a repair strategy that can get their machines back up and running as soon as possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise customers with their machines troubleshooting via telephone
- Keep a log of all calls on Internal service software (Freshdesk)
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Advise on replacement parts needed to repair a machine mechanically and/or electrically
- Program computers for machines in the field (customer or service orders)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Education/Training:
Associate Degree in Computers, Mechatronics, Electrical, or equivalent position experience - Experience/Skills:
